I always setup each list like this, which protects the list from many
different scenarios:
Filter= Also, listname@*, listserv@*
I assume you have many lists so you want to do it site wide. What you
propose will not effect the web interface. This should work as long
as you cover what you need to in FILTER_ALLOW=
