You can issue the following LISTSERV cmd
show node ukacrl /link*
This will return information about UKACRL's adjacent BITNET nodes. To
determine if those nodes contain a LISTSERV, you can follow either path:
1) e-mail/TELL LISTSERV AT bitnodeN the command THANKS
2) e-mail LISTSERV@UKACRL the following JOB:
/* --------------------- clip and save ---------------- */
//ListSrch JOB Echo=no
Database Search DD=Rules f=mail
//Rules DD *
s * in peers where country ( -
BITNODE1 or -
BITNODE2 or -
BITNODEn)
index
/*
// EOJ
/* --------------------- clip and save ---------------- */
BTW, if you compose a REXXette for 1) to do TELLs to ALL nodes,
note which ones (if any) respond first. This is a form of
"closeness."
