Yes LISTSERV looks at additional material on the From: line (and can be
over-ridden by an Sender: line not usually present in individual mail).

The safest form of command to work anytime with any version of LISTSERV is

Send to:  LISTSERV@(hostname)

Message Body:  SUB listname FirstName LastName
