Apologies for having failed to change the Subject: line in my last message. I am told that the problem with messages having "+" signs and so on would be solved by changing to FullHdr. Would that means we would get messages in styled text? I personally would like to ban styled text from the internet -- er, oops, forget I said that -- I just don't want it on my List. So if changing to FullHdr would result in fancy text instead of "=" signs and whatnot, that does not seem to me a good solution. (But many thanks to Cleo for the information -- much appreciated!) Secondly, another reason I don't want to use something other than ShortHdr is because I do not want to draw attention to the moderator's address. Here is an example of a message header you get when you have FullHdr set instead of ShortHdr: Approved-By: [log in to unmask] Mime-Version: 1.0 Date: Tue, 29 Aug 2000 17:30:08 +0100 Sender: [log in to unmask] From: Sarah Lawrence <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Privacy and the growth of knowledge To: [log in to unmask] While I don't mind people seeing "Approved-By: [log in to unmask]" some of my moderators do mind. Is there any way to stop that line appearing in the message headers apart from using ShortHdr? -- Sarah Lawrence TCS List http://www.sarahlawrence.org/ http://www.TCS.ac/
