Isn't it the case that oofbot (I've not seen that before; thanks for the word, Douglas) messages which go _to the whole list_ are caught by LISTSERV and not distributed (rightly, since they'd cause infinite exchanges of messages between oofbots), whereas those that go to the individual never come to the list address at all? I have a semi-automatic, semi-friendly message I send people who set up oofbots suggesting it makes more sense to set their lists to NOMAIL, but ultimately it's not a very serious issue (not like the old days, when you'd come in in the morning and find cascades of them, along with full-mailbox notices . . . ). -- Russ __|~_ Russell A.
