I've got a moderated list on my server that has the header below. * Editor= [log in to unmask] Penny Heaslip * Review= Private Subscription= Open Send= Editor,Hold,Confir * Notify= Yes Reply-to= List,Respect Files= No * Errors-to= Owner Default-Options= REPRO * Notebook= Yes,/soft/listserv/logs,Weekly,Private * Mail-Via= Dist2 * Digest= Yes,Same,Daily,16 Auto-delete= Yes,Full-Au * Renewal= Yearly,Delay(14) List-Address= FQDN * * Owner= [log in to unmask] Penny Heaslip * Owner=quiet: * [log in to unmask] Jan Johnston * [log in to unmask] Pat Lacefield * The owner/moderator has complained that she is seeing some notes on the list which she has not confirmed. When I look at some of the sample notes I do see "Approved-by:" header lines that show an email address other than the moderator. They match the sender of the note. Most notes have an "Approved-by:" that correctly matches the moderator id. Part of one of the odd note headers follows below. >Received: from LISTSERV.LOUISVILLE.EDU by LISTSERV.LOUISVILLE.EDU > (LISTSERV-TCP/IP release 1.8d) with spool id 458765 for > [log in to unmask]; Fri, 13 Oct 2000 14:57:10 >-0400 >Approved-By: [log in to unmask] >Received: from mail.belmont.edu (unknown [208.53.247.194]) by The list header looks ok to me for a moderated list, but there is a lot I don't know about list headers. Can anyone offer some pointers here? We are running LISTSERV 1.8d at 2000a maintenance level on AIX. Thanks for your help. _____________________________________________________________________________ Louis J. Wiesemann [log in to unmask] 502-852-8952
