I wish there were a utility to do this to all my mail. Maybe I need to set up a LISTSERV with only one member, me, at a new address, and forward all my mail to the LISTSERV. > If you mean does the list header keyword Langauage= NOHTML work it > most certainly does, long as it as sent as an attachment. That of > corse does not apply to private email. Way that works is it just > strips out the HTML junk so no one, (including the sender, > unfortunately) knows it was sent that way. Like Douglas, I'm just getting tired of this: > I finally got tired of fighting the HTML on the list battle, used > to expalain to people what they were doing, why they shouldn't, and > how to fix it with their system. Got tired of it, and these days > maybe there is nothing they *can* do about it. And of V-Cards, and messages which come with the whole body as an attachment and no message, and all the other stuff with Micro$oft & co. are imposing on helpless users . . . I have a student who's sending me files which are, no exaggeration, 2/3 useless HTML code introduced by Micro$oft Outlook or whatever she's using. I haven't got time to figure out how to help her turn it off . . . and maybe, in fact, she can't. -- Russ __|~_ Russell A.
