This could be for a variety of reasons (deleted user, name change, broken MX records, etc.) but it's usually a fatal error. If you have automatic error handling this will most likely be dealt with by LISTSERV itself. If you do things manually you'll have to decide what action to take. I give our users a grace period of 1 week or 10 bounces, whichever occurs first. They then get taken off the list and a notification is sent explaining why. So far it's been very effective with only 2 complaints in a year. I can't comment on your cc:mail problem as I've never seen it. I hope this helps.... Chazzozz!!
