Greetings, I have a couple of questions about tidying in archives and spool directories. As probably most of us Listserv admins I've seen a bunch of virus infested messages in my lists. As we've also seen, the latest kind also comes with a sometimes hefty payload. I'd like to clean that up by removing the messages in question from the archive. What would the correct procedure be? Also, from some strange stops my server does, from time to time, (basically it gets killed by the OS because it asks for memory which it cannot get when a large free-text search request is made) I get lots of messages that are marked as "held". Is there a command to get a list of messages being held, that describes them more in detail than MC LCMD SHOW? And, is there a method to remove such messages from the spool area and the held list? I'm running short on disk, which makes matters more urgent...
