A little more work, but I use:
Search * in LSTOWN-L from 94/01/01 to 99/01/01 where subject contains
'Digest'

and then use the // ..... , to indicate that the line wraps --

// Search * in LSTOWN-L from 94/01/01 to 99/01/01 where subject ,
contains 'Digest'
