There is no "all-request" entry in my /etc/mail/aliases file. What does the entry look like to be able to send to all the list owners? I wrote my own script that would update a mailing list of owners, but this would seem an easier way of notifying them. -- James o o o o o o o . . . _______________________ _______=======_T___ o _____ |James Madill | |Duke Univ Med Ctr| >.][__n_n_| D[ ====|____ [log in to unmask] | (919) 286-6384 | (________|__|_[____/____]_|_____________________|_|_________________| _/oo O-O-O ` oo oo 'o^o^o o^o^o` 'o^o o^o` -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- <http://www.duke.edu/~madil001/> Stan Horwitz <[log in to unmask]> Sent by: "LISTSERV list owners' forum" <[log in to unmask]> 07/01/02 16:18 Please respond to "LISTSERV list owners' forum" To: [log in to unmask] cc: Subject: Re: Generating a database of list owners On Mon, 1 Jul 2002, Michele Francis wrote: > Mitch, > I don't know about listserv, or seen anything. Which is exactly what I did. It works out nicely, but we do not use the info to send mass email to all Listowners. Emailing all list owners is trivial. Just send the message to all-request@hostname where "hostname" is the Internet hostname of your Listserv system.
