Hi, I've got kind of a strange problem. A user is trying to use the web interface to administer his list. He is able to create his listserv password, and even change it to something else, but when he tries to log in, he get an error saying Sorry, you are not authorized to use LISTSERV administrator functions from the address you entered in the login screen. From a different location, I can use his login and password without any problem. He's on a subnet that using DHCP, and mine is on a fixed IP, if that makes a difference. Here's what listserv.log shows: 29 Oct 2002 10:08:57 From [ANONYMOUS]@ITSSRV1.UCSF.EDU: X-LOGIN [log in to unmask] edu 128.218.232.50 PW=XXXXX 29 Oct 2002 10:08:57 To [ANONYMOUS]@ITSSRV1.UCSF.EDU: ***OK*** 13565A37DC39310 18A 29 Oct 2002 10:08:59 From [ANONYMOUS]@ITSSRV1.UCSF.EDU: X-LOGCK 13565A37DC393101 8A AUTHINFO(128.218.232.50) POSTMASTER() WM: NOP 29 Oct 2002 10:08:59 To [ANONYMOUS]@ITSSRV1.UCSF.EDU: ***OK*** 0 1 I couldn't find anything for the WM: NOP error message in the manuals. Is it somewhere that I can look it up? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated on what might be causing this problem. Thanks. Joe DeBattista UCSF, ITS INTERNET: [log in to unmask]
