Well, yes, but . . .

It seems pretty likely to me, though, that a little explanation
might make it clear to them that there _is_ no benefit, and save
them a lot of wasted time (many of my subscribers and colleagues
think the only way to have access to something is to download it
to a file and save it).  Then if they go ahead and do it anyway,
my conscience is clear . . .
