You don't mention what tools you have available.
For example, with MS Outlook/Exchange and MS Access, I would
        Set up an Outlook rule to move the Listserv responses to a special
folder
*       Send a Review job to list all users in all lists
*       Export the special folder response messages to a CSV text file
        Create an Access table with unique key
*       Import the CSV file into the Access table (ignore warning about
duplicate keys)

The import operation will eliminate duplicates.  To repeat at a later date,
delete all the records in the Access table, then repeat the * marked steps
above.

The sub-list method works very well and I use it frequently.  However, I
need the addresses for reasons unrelated to the need to send email.  Thanks
for the suggestion though, Ben.
