I seem to have a problem with a QA instance of a listserv handling a
bounce request differently than our production server.

Here is the request job, (mail to listserv is sent from [log in to unmask]):

To: [log in to unmask]
Subject: STATUS REQUEST FOR NOLIST-20060426094314791.CHANGELOG TO
James.Gart
[log in to unmask]

// GIVE NOLIST-20060426094314791.CHANGELOG ,
TO [log in to unmask] ,
PW=xxxxxx

It looks like the QA listserv is processing this request as a Distribute
job, not a GIVE command. Here are the logs. Note, I never actually get
the bounce reports from QA, but I DO get them from PROD.

When PRODUCTION handles something like this, it shows this in the log
file:

26 Apr 2006 10:37:38 From [log in to unmask]: GIVE
NOLIST-20060426094314791.CHANGELOG TO [log in to unmask] PW=xxxxxxxx
26 Apr 2006 10:37:38 Mailed file "NOLIST-20060426094314791 CHANGELOG"
to:
                     > [log in to unmask]
26 Apr 2006 12:36:31 Sent information mail to [log in to unmask]
26 Apr 2006 10:37:38 Sent information mail to [log in to unmask]

When the QA server handles this, the log shows:

From [log in to unmask]: DISTRIBUTE MAIL
[log in to unmask]  (...)
26 Apr 2006 12:36:31 Distributing mail ("20060426094314791") from

                     >

Thanks in advance for any help with this!
