Are there settings for a list to eliminate the error posts generated by remote mail servers when LISTSERV attempts to reply to a non-existent address that comes from a spam at the list address. That is, a spammer hits the list with mail having a bogus from address, LISTSERVER replies that the post was in error *for whatever reason) and sends of the reply to the bogus address, the remote mailserver gets the reply and says there is no one here by that name and promptly shoots off a reply to that effect to LISTSERV. LISTSERV gets the error and then sends a "Delivery Error Report" to the list owners. I would like to stop these particular error reports. _________________________________________________________________________ James Hale [log in to unmask] IT Manager, ArtsIT, Faculty of Arts Tel: (834)48196 http://www.arts.unimelb.edu.au/~jhale _________________________________________________________________________
