That's a truth that gets overlooked around here...  Since lists are aowned 
by internal staff in our organization, a few years ago they took it out of 
the messaging team, and moved it to the internal support group, including 
the chargeback revenues.  While I like the staff on that group, they don't 
know messaging, don't have time to focus on messaging and all the problems 
just come back to us anyways. 

Just don't get me started on some of the decisions that were made about 
mailing list management software before we finally got Listserv!
