Hmm! Here at Temple, we have a detailed procedure to take in order to request approval to do an upgrade such as going from LISTSERV 14.5 to 15. One question that I am sure will come up when I submit a change management form to do this upgrade is what impact will this change have on our users (including list owners). I know this question may be coming too soon after L-Soft's announcement, but I am just wondering if anyone on this list has made that switch yet and what your experience has been, esp. for those at educational institutions. I am thinking of doing this upgrade mid- January after I get back from vacation. At this point, I don't have the time or resources to install LISTSERV 15 in a test environment, so if I do this upgrade, it will offer an all new wa interface to my colleagues who do help desk support and our various users. The web GUI is a popular feature here, so I don't want to cause consternation if the change is too radical. I have not yet had an opportunity to see the new GUI myself. Any comments will be appreciated.
