I have a moderated discussion list and all messages are always approved by moderator. I have one problem with the list and that is spamming! The moderator gets messages from people who are not on the list. On some days, there are more than few messages to monitor and reject. The monthly public archive has been disabled. Is there anything that I can include or omit in the list configuration below to make this list to be spam free! Thank you, H. It will typically have public archives. All mail sent to the list address will be forwarded to the list editor for approval via the "OK" mechanism. Only list owners may review the list of subscribers. This template has a medium security validation scheme which requires a password or "OK" validation for "protected" commands. Mail sent to the list by the list editor will require an "OK" confirmation to validate that the mail actually came from the editor. See chapter 2.13.1 in the List Owner's Manual for more information. If you have multiple moderators, see chapter 2.13.2 for a discussion of the various methods available to share the work among them. There is no "medium security" variant of the moderated list template because it would be identical to the "high security" template. On a moderated list, messages must always be approved by the moderator regardless of the security level. .HH OFF You should insert a short (4-5 line) description of your list here
