I need both... I need to be able to create dynamic lists based on a given selection criteria as well as allow members to reply in some groups. Security is very important as some of the lists contain 1000's of email addresses. Only administrators should be allowed to send communications to these large groups. It is also important that email addresses remain confidential. Thanks. __________________________ Sheree Englehardt Software Developer St. Leo University (352) 588-7590 -----Original Message----- From: LISTSERV give-and-take forum [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of John Traweek Sent: Monday, September 13, 2010 5:44 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Benefits for Against using ODBC Are you simply looking for a quick and easy way to contact dynamic lists, ie one way communication or does it need to allow for members to talk back and forth? ________________________________ John Traweek Director, Information Technology Proud PCI Associate for 13 years PCI: the data company Heritage Square 4835 LBJ Freeway, Suite 1100 Dallas, TX 75244 214.530.0394 We drive engagement. What would be the point of an ODBC interface if it didn't allow you to do this sort of thing? :) Yes, it's possible - but as we've not deployed it locally yet, somebody else will need to fill in the details.
