And you might be looking for a single (maybe not visible) character someplace because mail systems sometimes add the “@wou.edu” to qualify an incomplete address (e.g., x would become [log in to unmask] on receipt) and maybe add the quotes also.

I would look for an extra Reply-To= line or parameter (like a trailing comma or comma in an address?). But then I have no idea why the different digests would be different. I’m assuming TR.WOU.EDU is the hostname for your LISTSERV™ server?
