Here is the right way. Change listname appropriatly: If you would like to change your email address on the siberian mailing list, send email to the listserv: <mailto:[log in to unmask]> No mime or html, plain text ONLY. No signature. No subject. In the body: CHANGE Sibernet-L Your_new_address This command MUST come from your OLD address, i.e. the address that is currently subscribed. You will get a confirmation you must reply to. It may take from seconds up to a day or two. NOTE: The confirmation email gives you a choice of replying to it with OK in the message body or clicking on a link. Forget the link, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Just reply to the confirmation request, making sure that the "From:" field is the same as the confirmation request is addressed to, clear the body of the message, and put in "OK" (without the quotes) and nothing else. If your mailer inserts a signature, put a few blank lines after the OK to make sure it's seperated from the signature. Don't touch the subject, it will contain a code number that Listserv uses to match you to the original request. -- Rich Greenberg Sarasota, FL, USA richgr atsign panix.com + 1 941 378 2097 Eastern time.
