It’s crazy that this has to be done manually. We have 300+ lists. This needs to be fixed.

We had this problem. We had to break our larger archives into smaller segments of about 5 years each. I don’t know if we did it right because it basically makes the older archives unavailable. The archive we
had the most trouble with now only goes back to 2015.
We used step 2 in this tech tip:
http://www.lsoft.com/news/techtipLSV-issue2-2007-us.asp
We’re not happy with it. We think the search needs to be fixed. But, at least the last couple of years of the archive are searchable.

I’ll just add us to the list. Our archive searches have had issues along the same lines as Krista mentioned.

When we upgraded to 16.0 earlier this year we pretty much lost any decent capability to search our archives. I see from the archives here, that at least one other person has noticed the same issue. If a word is
used too many times, it isn’t indexed at all, and we’re thrown an error as if someone searched for “the”. The most active list we have, doesn’t have any archive searches coming up after 2015, when it does return results for one of those more common terms.
