Updates for F-Secure Server Security for Windows Will Stop on December 31, 2021 The use of Windows Defender with LISTSERV 17.0 for Windows is fully supported. ######################################################################## L-Soft customers who are currently using the Windows version of F-Secure Anti-Virus (F-Secure Server Security 12) will lose access to automatic anti-virus signature updates for that product after December 31, 2021. This is because F-Secure Server Security 12 is at end of life, and F-Secure has not provided L-Soft a suitable replacement to date. There are solutions providing Windows customers a working replacement that in most cases can be applied immediately. Customers running Windows Server 2016 and later can switch to using Windows Defender with LISTSERV. Customers still running Windows Server 2012 R2 (which does not support a compatible version of Windows Defender) will have to identify an appropriate third-party anti-virus solution, install it, and configure LISTSERV to use it. In both cases, the replacement requires only a few steps and may not require a reboot of the entire machine, though it will require LISTSERV itself to be restarted.
