I had a question from one of my users which I couldn't answer: What's the difference between postings from a list which include other people at your own node in the To: line (yes, I know, no more than 4 or 5, even if there are more than that subscribed from your node), and postings which come addressed only To: you, regardless of how many other people at your node are also subscribed? We're a VAX/VMS/JNET node, so we have no MAILER to re-distribute one common piece of mail; the LISTSERV (nearest one, if it's MAIL VIA DISTRIBUTE) sends a separate piece of mail per subscriber. /Hugh Pritchard, Systems Programming [log in to unmask] & POSTMASTER The Catholic University of America Computer Center (202) 635-5373 Washington, DC 20064 USA Disclaimer: My views aren't necessarily those of the Pope.
