We came up on ESA (ESA) 1.0 this past weekend. Yesterday, our LISTSERV died trying to process PEERS JOB; the Receive command generated a prompt which apparently put the address space into a read condition. Fifteen minutes later, bye-bye Listserv. We changed nothing. My first response is to post this; my second, to change the DEFAULTS for RECEIVE to NOPROMPT. Console log follows. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 22 Jan 1992 10:00:01 Executing WAKEUP event: 10:00:00 Call LSVCHK 'Database1' RDR FILE 3626 SENT FROM DOENET PUN WAS 4419 RECS 1133 CPY 001 A NOHOLD NOKEEP 22 Jan 1992 11:25:26 Processing file (3626) from LISTSERV@GWUVM 22 Jan 1992 11:25:27 From LISTSERV@GWUVM: DIST2 FROM=ERIC@SEARN PRIOR=40 I=Y FOR W(CRC) HOST(188) TO LISTSERV DOEVM 22 Jan 1992 11:25:28 Distributing file "PEERS JOB" from ERIC@SEARN... 22 Jan 1992 11:25:28 File "PEERS JOB" distributed to [log in to unmask] * File "PEERS JOB" from ERIC@SEARN has been sent to you. 22 Jan 1992 11:25:28 Done - 1 outbound file (1 rcpt). 22 Jan 1992 11:25:29 Processing file (3627) from LISTSERV@DOEVM DMSDDL1079R Receive PUTPN CMSUT1 A1 as LISTSERV CMSUT1 D1?
