CLIP EXEC is a very simple too, and probably it doesnt provide enough options for all your work. It removes most of the header blurb, leaving behind what you specified. Its default setting is to remove all headers, but you specify options, here is its help thing, which I think explains it better than I can: say ' CLIP - A program to shrink notebooks' say ' (c)1989 Turgut Kalfaoglu <TURGUT@TREARN>' say say ' This program shortens notebooks by removing the headers, and' say ' excessive blanks, preventing needless paper waste when printing' say say ' Usage: CLIP fn <ft <fm>> (REPlace' say ' FROm - Keeps From header' say ' NOFrom - Removes From header' say ' SUBject - Keeps Subject header' say ' NOSubject - Removes Subject header' say ' NOBlanks - Removes consecutive blanks' say ' Blanks - Keeps blank lines' say say 'Defaults: The options beginning with NO' say By "BLANKS" it means consecutive 3 blank lines or more. Single blank lines are kept.. Regards, -turgut
