Dear colleagues, The following mail exchange shows that the QUAKER-L and QUAKER-P lists were told of an e-mail address purported to belong to a staff member of Bill Clinton. This address as given is NOT CORRECT. Please do not redistribute the incorrect address unless it would serve to eliminate 1 of many(?) -- the poor guy has suffered enough. I enclose the full name and id for your use to be sure I/you have my/your facts straight. I should be clear that I presume a human misunderstanding or human typo somewhere, and include the original posting not to incriminate the author but to provide full documentation. Incidentally, I'd be interested to know if there is actually a correct address, or, better yet, what it is. :-) Thanks, Steve, co-owner of Quaker-L and Quaker-P. -- Stephen W. Not precisely a complete or satisfying reply. But still..... Just think what we can do for FCNL. Another great way to add to the endless demands on our time and energy!! Enjoy! Thompson) Dear Jock (Jack?) Gill, I am a co-owner of a LISTSERV list on which someone publicized your Compuserve address as a means to reach President-elect Clinton. Before your account becomes inundated with mail, I want to a) confirm that you are associated with Bill Clinton; and b) confirm that your address is meant to be used to pass messages to him (or his staff, of courses). Thank you for your time, Steve, Quaker-L and Quaker-P co-owner -- Stephen W. This particular CompuServe ID is definitely NOT appropriate for Bill Clinton info. There was a misprint somewhere, and I have been receiving correspondence for quite awhile. Thanks for asking, and please see that this ID is removed from your list. -JN Distribution: >INTERNET:[log in to unmask]
