This is most likely a FAQ, but even after reading over all of the documentation I have gotten from here and there, I am still confused. I currently am the owner of two mailing lists. One is just your standard discussion list while the other is pertaining to a project that several people are banding together to work on. One of the things I would like to do is to make a series of files available via the listserv for persons to get. This saves having to either locate an FTP site or having eveyone on the list mail to me to get copies. My question is: Is it possible for me as owner (but not postmaster) to both place and remove available files? And if so, can someone send me step-by-step instructions that a moron like myself will be able to understand? According to the reference file, this is what you have do to PUT a file on: PUT fn ft <filelist <NODIST>> Store a file on LISTSERV <"parameters"> <PW=password> (optional parms and password) <RECFM=V|F> <LRECL=nnn> (physical file attributes) But I am confused about how that all works, what the different parameters are, and essentially the format of the posting document. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks. ]> Robert Hayden <] [> This .signature has been made <] ]> <] [> with 85% recycled pixels. <] ]> [log in to unmask] <] ]> [log in to unmask] <]
