I have a customer who's subscribed to PCBUILD at TSCVM. He has been trying, unsucessfully thus far, to get signed off! When we REView the list, he's subscribed as [log in to unmask] However, we cannot force our system here to add the .BITNET to the nodeid when we send a mail file (or a CMS file, using sendfile) to the LISTSERV at TSCVM. Therefore when TSCVM's LISTSERV processes the SIGNOFF command, it can't find a match. He gets a message saying "USERxxx@CFRVM is not subscribed to the PCBUILD list......." He has sent several e-mail messages to PCBUILD's owner, asking him/her to take him off, but hasn't had any satisfaction there as yet. We've also sent requests to the POSTMASTER at TSCVM for assistance, but nothing as yet. My customer is receiving *TONS* of mail and can't keep up with it. We've also tried sending a SET command with the option of NOMAIL, but run into the same problem; the LISTSERV at TSCVM doesn't recognize my customer as a subscriber. Any suggestions? (I'm posting this here because my customer is now requesting a new id and wants to "cancel" the id which is receiving the *TONS* of mail from PCBUILD. My boss says get this guy off PCBUILD, like NOW!) Wanda F. Walker 4202 Fowler Av, SVC 4010, Tampa,Fl., 33620 USF (Internet: [log in to unmask]) (BITNET: DBLABAI@CFRVM)
