A few weeks ago I tried to find EDSTAT-L. I was suprised to find that LISTSERV@UGA did not know how to find that list. I have since found it. It has moved to some machine with domain based name. (Internet, TCP/IP, Unix, whatever you like to call this.) My question for LSTSRV-L is why did UGA not know about this list? Is it because the software on that machine is incompatible with UGA? Is it because the listowner never told UGA that the list existed? I really like mailing lists and have used them for years. However one of the things I liked about LISTSERV was that you could query its list of lists. Tom Abernathy (TGAMS@CUNYVM or [log in to unmask])
