One of my subscribers has noticed a problem that has begun in the headers of the mail he receives, specifically that the Reply-To header is modified in an odd way such that the transmogrified address can't really be used for replying (see example copied below). He says that his "network people" (must mean the postmaster) have determined that the problem is not on their end and they're receiving it this way. However, I notice that the last odd parse is different than the rest in that all the others show the nodename of my Listserv, whereas the last one shows a nodename that's in *his* subdomain (NCR.COM), i.e. the last parse shows the nodename ncrhub1.NCR.COM and the subscriber's nodename is images1.waterloo.ncr.com. So, gang, how do I best trace down where this problem originates so that I can ask the right person to fix it? -- Roger Burns [log in to unmask] List-owner, CFS-L based on LISTSERV at NIHLIST or LIST.NIH.GOV ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date : Wed, 3 Nov 1993 05:00:45 -0500 From : Roger Burns <[log in to unmask]> Reply to : [log in to unmask], [log in to unmask],[log in to unmask], [log in to unmask],[log in to unmask], "Fatigue Syndrome discussion CFIDS/ME"@ncrhub1.NCR.COM To : Multiple recipients of list CFS-L <[log in to unmask]> Subject : Re: Request (fwd) [TEXT DELETED]
