*** Resending note of 12/14/93 15:53 The SWIP-L listowner forwarded the following mail delivery error report to me, asking why SWIP-L received it. I did a review of MIDEUR-L@UBVM, expecting to see SWIP-L subbed to it, but nada. SWIP-L's listowner says she's been getting other "strange" bounced e-mail which appear to have no connection to SWIP-L. Anyone out there have any reasonable explanation of this? Also, where can I find out more about this WORLDTALK's E-Mail Directory? ************************************************************** ** Forwarding note from LISTSERV--CFRVM 12/14/93 12:36 *** Received: from CFRVM.BITNET by CFRVM.CFR.USF.EDU (Mailer R2.08 PTF008) with BSMTP id 2720; Tue, 14 Dec 93 12:36:49 EDT Date: Tue, 14 Dec 1993 12:36:50 -0400 From: BITNET list server at CFRVM (1.7f) <[log in to unmask]> Subject: SWIP-L: error report from DCUH029.DCU.PS.NET To: L MCALISTER <[log in to unmask]> X-LSV-ListID: None The enclosed mail file, found in the SWIP-L reader and shown under the spoolid 2723 in the console log, has been identified as a possible delivery error notice for the following reason: mail origin is listed in "Filter=" list header keyword (or its default value for SWIP-L). ------------------------- Message in error (38 lines) ------------------------- Received: from UGA.CC.UGA.EDU by CFRVM.CFR.USF.EDU (Mailer R2.08 PTF008) with BSMTP id 2710; Tue, 14 Dec 93 12:36:20 EDT Received: from UGA (NJE origin SMTPL@UGA) by UGA.CC.UGA.EDU (LMail V1.1d/1.7f) with BSMTP id 3020; Tue, 14 Dec 1993 12:38:11 -0500 Received: from dcuh029.dcu.ps.net by uga.cc.uga.edu (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Tue, 14 Dec 93 12:37:25 EST Received: by dcuh029.dcu.ps.net (1.37.109.4/16.2) id AA01936; Tue, 14 Dec 93 11:34:45 -0600 Date: Tue, 14 Dec 93 11:34:45 -0600 Message-Id: <[log in to unmask]> From: [log in to unmask] (Worldtalk 400 Mail Gateway) To: <@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU:[log in to unmask]> Subject: Delivery-Report (Failure) for <@UGA.CC.UGA.EDU:[log in to unmask]> Your message addressed to "<@UBVM.CC.BUFFALO.EDU:[log in to unmask] EDU>" was not delivered because this recipient is not registered in Worldtalk's E-Mail Directory.
