>It doesn't seem that LISTSERV has such a feature, short of creating >a separate list for each topic area. Is there a creative solution >using current technology, or is LISTSERV planning to accommodate this >in future releases? It might be that the TOPICS= listserv definition will do what you want. (as had been mentioned by other posters). Others have actually used separate lists and had a master list which controls who can subscribe to the minor lists. HEPROC-L@AUVM is an excellent example of the former, whereas AFA-FIN@WSUVM1 of the latter. -- co-owner INFOSYS, TQM-L, CPARK-L, ERAPPA-L, JANITORS, LDBASE-L, et -L [log in to unmask] "Are you a cybersurfer or cybersufferer?" 814 863 1843 31 Shields Bldg. -- Penn State Univ -- University Park, PA 16802-1202 USA
