Thanks. I presume that all the AERA lists are managed by the same Listserv. Send a message to that LISTSERV saying: tell listserv del * schmo@nowhere That will remove Schmo from ALL lists managed by that Listserv. Of course if Schmo also subscribed to other, non-AERA, lists on that Listserv he/she would find himself deleted from them as well. However it might be worth your or his/her worthwhile to get removed from a dozen lists with one command and then to resub to the other one or two individually.
