The following list (as an example) has 1 owner who is also on the distribution list. Distribution list has a total of 4 names. List is archived as private. Let's say our institution has 100 people using EMail... how can I set-up the following situation? Is there a way to have the list available for other selected people to view the archive but not post to the list or receive daily activity? In my example, I would want: - Users 1 through 4 to have the ability to post to the list. (note I don't want users 5 through 10 to get daily postings) - Users 1 through 10 to have the ability to view the archives. - Users 11 through 100 can not post to the list or view archives. Setting notebook to public would allow users 11 to 100 to have access to archive information. Using editor function would keep the postings coming from users 1 through 4, but 5 to 10 would receive daily messages (unless I set 5 to 10 to nomail). Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long note. Any other suggestions are appreciated. We are running Listserv 1.8a. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - John Clutcher, Systems Planning Specialist/E-mail Postmaster Information Systems Internet: [log in to unmask] Hershey Medical Center Bitnet: [log in to unmask] P.O.
