Everyone once in awhile, a user or two will subscribe to my list from this site. What happens then is that everytime listserv tries to send mail to this site, I receive the following note in my mailbox. Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]> Received: from PSUVM (NJE origin SMTP@PSUVM) by PSUVM.PSU.EDU (LMail V1.2a/1.8a) with BSMTP id 8730; Tue, 4 Oct 1994 09:47:10 -0400 Received: from netcomsv.netcom.com by PSUVM.PSU.EDU (IBM VM SMTP V2R2) with TCP; Tue, 04 Oct 94 09:47:08 EDT Received: from ax.com by netcomsv.netcom.com with UUCP (8.6.4/SMI-4.1) id GAA20387; Tue, 4 Oct 1994 06:38:54 -0700 Received: by ax.com (UUPU-1.42) id D2822VO Mon Oct 03, 1994 06:10:59 EDT From: "ROOT"@ax.com Message-Id: <[log in to unmask]> X-Mailer: UUPlus Mail 1.42 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Non-Delivery Notification Organization: Anarchy-X Date: Mon, 03 Oct 94 06:10:58 EST NON-DELIVERY NOTICE ------------------- The message you sent on: Unknown to "ROOT" was undeliverable. ========================= !!! Automated Notice !!! ======================= E-mail replies to this user should have the following on the first line of message text: TO: "ROOT" ========================================================================= My question is, is there anyway I can prevent this from happening? I am getting tired of deleting all these notes from my reader (our postmaster deleted the subscriptions from my lists early, but not early enough for me :-(). This is not the first time this has happened. Does anyone have any hints? ideas? suggestions? Laurie Salopek
