ACKK!!!  Sorry.  The fastest way for me to put the > marks before lines of
quoted passages is to put a = in front of each line and global change to >
 -- which works wonderfully, save that it also changes any = WITHIN the
line.  (I could choose another character than =, I suppose, but this one is
conveniently placed on the keyboard.)
 
The command is QUERY LISTNAME FOR *@* PW=PASSWORD, and not PW>PASSWORD.
