This is not about lists or list owner control. This is about what the files are called. I would need more information to determine what happened exactly. But, however it happened, LISTSERV determined that your subscribers were AFDed to the other people's files. It also determined that their files belonged to your filelist. When you do a PUT of a FILELIST, LISTSERV looks at all the files registered in the corresponding FILEID that are still on disk and if it doesn't find them it complains. It does NOT look for other files that might have the same name in other filelists. So what probably happened is that the files were registered in their filelist but in your FILEID, in which case it would be a bug. Eric
