Talk about rapid response! Within 10 minutes of my original plea for help, Joyce sent a suggestion, and the problem has been solved. This is, by far, the most focused, supportive, rapid-response list I've seen. Thanks. A couple of features that I really appreciate, that might be of interest to the rapidly growing number of people who are setting up lists for classroom purposes (I set up a list of each of my classes each semester). --Two students jumped the gun, and subscribed to the class list before it had been established. I received the standard '... wants to subscribe' message, with an indication that list wasn't established yet. (Can't remember the exact words.) After setting up list, I added the students. --According to one of the listserv documentation memos, when adding subscribers to a list, it's unnecesary to include the name of a person who is already known to listserv. This is especially helpful when we have students in multiple classes. Thanks again, and hope that the above will help someone. ....................................................................... :Sue Espinoza :Phone: (903) 885-5500 : :Secondary & Higher Ed (Educational Computing):Fax: (903) 886-5603 : :East Texas State University : [log in to unmask] : :Commerce, TX 75429 :[log in to unmask] :
