The error text says unable to transfer file and if the postmaster at the guy's site cannot fix the problem, the simplest is to just delete the user from the list with the comment they are invited to re-subscribe when the mail problem is fixed. My latet mystery erroris errors from uga.cc.uga.edu which give no user id just a machine id tht cannot be reached. One of my users in Ottawa was having a mail delivery problem and since he is a local telephone call, I left him a voice mail messge explaining why I deleted him from the list I co-own. He phoned me back and we discussed potential causes of his problem and I told him he was invited to resubscribe when the gateway to his system was working. We negotiated a compromise eventually: He modified a suspect mail address and i put him back on the list. Since my list has open subscription, I don't know why people feel intimidted by subscribing themselves but some do. Such are the joys of being a list owner!
