My suggestion: don't change LISTSERV, but educate the user. It will pay dividends in less consumption of bandwidth, disc storage (viz. archives), and people time (reading). Here is my standard boilerplate when such bounces to the owner: Dear If you want this distributed to all of xxxxxx-L, you will need to remove the original "headers" that you included in your reply: the software does not allow you to include them, thinking that it is a "loop."
