This userid received this password rejection when attempting to PUT some changes to the headers of this list? I looked at the console log, and the password listed on the PUT command is exactly what is listed in the SIGNUP2 FILE on LISTSERV's 191... I also saw the original PUT command, and it looked fine, too... About the only thing "odd" I can find is that there are TWO entries in SIGNUP2 FILE for this userid... One (with the password) has the userid in all uppercase... The other (without a password) has the userid in all lowercase... This userid is able to issue list owner commands (ADD, DEL, etc) and was able to issue the "GET (HDR" command using this password just fine... But the PUT was rejected... Could the PUT command be looking at the lowercase SIGNUP2 entry while all the other commands are looking at the uppercase entry??? Would this be "solved" if I just REGISTER OFF the lowercase entry? Or, can I PWC ADD a password for the lowercase entry? Suggestions greatly appreciated.
