-- [ From: Huy Vu * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- Has anyone tried doing a mass subscription import (300+) into Listserv using the ADD command and gotten weird results (like Listserv forgetting your personal password)? In one email, I would send to Listserv in the following format (spit out by my database program): Add listname [log in to unmask] * PW= mypassword Add listname [log in to unmask] * PW= mypassword Add listname [log in to unmask] * PW= mypassword .... Add listname [log in to unmask] * PW= mypassword Add listname [log in to unmask] * PW= mypassword .... relevant settings: Verify= yes Notify= no After sending it to listserv, the reply would come back saying user1 to user299 were subscribed but user300 (I'm not sure on the exact numbering) and everyone afterwards could not be added because of an invalid password (the log says the same thing). I know the password isn't wrong because I used to same macro to spit out the above strings. So I try to find out from Listserv what it had for my password. Well it came back and said that there wasn't a password for me! So I added/created my password again. This occurs everytime I send large lists (so I chopped them into millions of smaller lists - a REAL PAIN). I'm running a P90 NT server with 16MB (I know the 16MB is minimum but there is plenty of hard drive for the swap/page file ). Anyone else having this problem? Any other problems other users should be aware of? Thanks, Huy
