I am extremely concerned about our inability to contain this bogus subscription scheme. I don't mean to be an alarmist, but if this spreads and if a large number of people begin to panic and respond to the unsolicited messages they receive this could turn into quite a disaster. I assumed that by now listowners were aware of this, and were watching out for the bogus subscriptions. Apparently, this is not the case on a broad enough basis. Any suggestions? As the mailboxes of victims fill up error messages themselves will start clogging the system. Add to that those idiotic providers that send out notices of non-delivery on a regular basis and we may end up with super bottle necks. Any suggestions? Peace (I think), Ingrid [log in to unmask]
