I am the moderator of two forums and belong to about thirty, so I get lots of email (several administrative and technical, where postings are not usually urgent or personal). I would like to be able to tell at a glance which forums the postings are coming from, especially the ones I moderate. Is there a way of programming the software so that the subect lines of messages automatically start with an indentifying acronym, which, in my case would be SaC for Science as Culture (Listproc) PPS for Psychoanalysis and the Public Sphere (Listserv) ? When I used Eudora Lite, the forum of origin was identified. Now that I use Eudora Pro, it isn't. The result is that I miss things. I know I could set the software to put everything straight into files but I like to go through my IN postbox before filing things into separate forum mailboxes (of which trhere are many). I assume that I am not alone in having this problem.
