Remember that LISTSERV distributions are not linear i.e., they don't go from the LISTSERV hosting site directly to the subscriber. It depends upon a "host" ;-) of other sites and facilities. In particular SMTP at PSUVM.PSU.EDU is having some form of difficulty with the LISTSERV PEER host PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM. This difficulty might relate to resolving the IP address between the clients, stub resolvers, DNS caches, though probably NOT the authoritative DNSes,. IP connectivity (PING and TRACEROUTE) to that host does not appear to be the problem. I had noticed THAT over the weekend and have made cognizant PSUVM sysadmins (I am not one there) aware of this difficulty and have participated in some conjecturing/probing. -- co-owner: INFOSYS, TQM-L, CPARK-L, ERAPPA-L, JANITORS, LDBASE-L, et -L URL:mailto:[log in to unmask] "I've been cybertagged :-("
