Dear fellow listowners: Does someone have any idea what happened here. I send a "set digest" command when mail to one of our subscribers started bouncing. This is the message I received from listserv: #3166 19-SEP-1996 12:23:29.29 From:SMTP%"[log in to unmask]" To: FACSHAFERI CC: Subj:Output of your job "FACSHAFERI" Date: Thu, 19 Sep 1996 13:23:07 -0400 From: "L-Soft list server at TEMPLEVM (1.8b)" <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Output of your job "FACSHAFERI" To: "Ingrid H. Shafer" <[log in to unmask]> > quiet set vatican2 digest for bgorman@* Invalid subscription option - "FOR". No action taken. Summary of resource utilization ------------------------------- CPU time: 0.003 sec Device I/O: 0 Overhead CPU: 0.002 sec Paging I/O: 0 CPU model: 3090 DASD model: 3380 I then pushed reply and resubmitted precisely the same command. This time it worked!!!! I can see absolutely no difference in the two commands. Makes me wonder if there is a bug somewhere . . . Or am I simply not seeing the obvious? Maybe some stray character got into my address and Temple listserv didn't recognize me as listowner???? Puzzled . . . Thanks, Ingrid [log in to unmask]
