The site PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM (and possibly others) seems not to insert a "Received:" header into the messages passing through it. This makes it very difficult to try and diagnose the 12-hour delay represented in these two adjacent "Received:" headers: > Received: from PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM (206.241.12.4) by > VMS.DC.LSOFT.COM (LSMTP for OpenVMS v1.1a) with SMTP id > <[log in to unmask]>; Mon, 23 Sep 1996 15:28:48 -0500 > Received: from VM.EGE.EDU.TR by VM.EGE.EDU.TR (LISTSERV release 1.8b) > with NJE > id 2822 for [log in to unmask]; Mon, 23 Sep 1996 10:34:54 +0200 (I've chopped long lines and rearranged white space for posting but otherwise not altered). Note the "gap" between 08:34:54 GMT and 20:28:48 GMT. It's real, not mis-set clocks, because I got a Cc: of the original post much earlier. I've checked back several months, and PEACH never seems to insert this header. Does anyone know why not? Thanks, Stan Ryckman ([log in to unmask]) (list owner, GS-L)
