One of our list owners is complaining of a problem that I don't know how to fix, and I thought I'd ask you folks. The subscribers to this list are mostly Microsoft Mail users, and when they "reply" to a posting, the headers and text of the old message are placed at the bottom of their reply. LISTSERV is objecting to finding the old headers in the body of the message: > To: Beth Wandel; Laura Toms > Subject: UNSNETCO-L: error report from OCLC.ORG > Date: Tuesday, October 22, 1996 9:46AM > > The enclosed message, found in the UNSNETCO-L mailbox and shown under the > spool > ID 13025 in the system log, has been identified as a possible delivery > error > notice for the following reason: "Sender:", "From:" or "Reply-To:" > field > pointing to the list has been found in mail body. > > ------------------------ Message in error (107 lines) While I think it's wasted bandwidth not to edit out the old headers, it's inconvenient to do in MS mail, and the list owner swears that LISTSERV didn't reject these messages until recently. Could anyone give me any idea as to why this is happening and what I could do to solve it?
